The [K9] clan was founded in September 2000 by a group of Half-Life players who had become friends while playing together most of the summer, and who all shared a common belief that the focus of the game was to have fun. We developed the clan around the following philosophies:

• Positive attitudes and fair play should prevail above all
  
• We will treat others with respect whenever possible
  
• Our goal is to enjoy the game, and to conduct ourselves in a manner that allows others to enjoy themselves around us
  
• Foul language should be kept to a minimum, especially if directed towards other players
  
• Racial slurs will not be tolerated
  
• Clan members will not verbally attack other players unless first provoked, and then those attacks should be limited and conducted in a manner consistent with the clan's general image and ideals
  
• The use of the beegun gun, while a part of the game, should not be used excessively
  
• Don’t be afraid to bark once in a while ;)

These rules have been the 'K9 way' since the very beginning, and are still enforced in all of our servers today! Please keep in mind that our servers are for any age group; clan member's children, and other young kids play on our servers all the time.
